This country, our loved ones, needs all the help they can get. The best way we all can provide, is to unite. The ill purposed forces have had a field day in seeding disunity in our ranks we have never really developed a sense of community or common purpose. Yes, we all chant with all our might "Ta7t arzak Ya Lebnan ana 7abib Walla 3eish w Mout", we get these goose bumps at the same time. We all love this country... sadly, not the same way or for the same reasons. There are those that care little about this most basic yearning in most of us, have had too much time to learn where our weakness lies, and have used and extorted and plotted and sowed the seeds of hatred among us, for the only purpose, to conquer our spirit.
So many of us are sadly outside the country, most have taken that route for the basic need to earn a decent living, help our families back home, help this country, no one asks about the hardship many have endured to get where they are, and No we have not turned our back on the land of our ancestors, nor have we forgotten where our roots are. Yes we are still Lebanese and more so than most residents, and Yes we demand do be heard, hence we demand unequivocally, the right to be represented in the National Parliament.
They ask us to register, yet provide little communications on this matter. They promise to give us representation, they cannot even convene parliament to pass a law for that. Let Us tell them we are here, tell them we have not surrendered our rights, tell them we demand to be represented, tell them we are sick and tired of their ways, methods and rotten leadership, tell them there is 12 to 14 million Lebanese that want reclaim every right they have been denied, tell them the Tide has turned at home and in the Diaspora.
Let us all unite and find a way to unite and deliver the message. Lebanon is for All Lebanese not just the corrupt few, and if we must revolt, we will, less enthusiastic nations have done so and sent their "leaders" packing, We can too!
